None MUON

MUON emerged in 2023 as a duo project of sound artists and musicians Miles Lukoszevieze and Travis Yu, who met during their studies at the London College of Communication. They bonded over their shared passion for all things ambiguous and the in-between. Hugely improvisational, the project explores interconnected avenues of electroacoustic work, noise, and experimental music. Miles’ emotive and dichotomic soundscapes, in conjunction with Travis’ at times visceral, at times ethereal voice, create a rich and hauntingly reverberant atmosphere. As two distinct emerging artists, they challenge, assimilate, and appropriate the norms of sound making across disciplines and genres, to construct a new set of vocabularies for sonic gesturing through music performances. Throughout 2026 they have been developing a three-part performance series titled ‘Anatomy of Breath’, in which the artists have explored a correlation of movement and sound evidencing a physicality to Breath. Presented through two performances so far, they use acoustic elements in the form of woodwinds, organ and voice, against electronic processing, shortwave transmissions, respiratory recordings and noise elements to unearth sonic textures beyond traditional music-making and realise a new intersection of performance under a dramaturgic approach.
