The Social Score is a workshop and lecture programme facilitated by a group of international artists and composers that explores how protocols, networks and material algorithms manifest as music and produce complex polyphonies from the singular plural field of relation that constitutes the chorus. Over three days, participants take part in a series of lectures, workshops and rehearsals that culminate in a public performance on Sunday 29 November 2026, 7pm.

The programme also marks the foundation of Chormethode, a new experimental ensemble based in Vienna that starts from an expanded concept of the chorus as a site of learning and critical, embodied practice. It is both symposium and research residency as well as an open call to those who want to test and experience the unique working methodology of the choir.
