Advanced Study Programme

From 2027, Field Studies students will be able to enrol on a two-year advanced study programme to develop an independent, postgraduate-level research project with support from dedicated tutors, friends and partners. Admission to the programme is based on a series of conversations, and no previous certificates or degrees are required to join.

Residencies and teaching projects at Field Studies in 2026–27 are designed to develop this new curriculum, and create space to ask fundamental questions about the nature of learning, the role of technologies in the production of knowledge, what research can be, where and how it happens, in what context, how it is made accessible, assessed and disseminated.
